PATHWAYS TO RECOVERY - Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program
"Pathways to Recovery" is New Connections' intensive outpatient substance abuse and mental health treatment program for youth and their families, offered through our offices in Central Costa County (Concord) and East County (Pittsburg). Services are provided by professional counselors who specialize in the treatment of chemical dependency and mental health problems.
The Pathways to Recovery Program is based upon extensive clinical research, and includes adaptations of the Matrix Model of Addiction and Recovery. Since its inception in 1990, the program has grown to serve over 200 young people and their families each year.
This program is supported through contracts with Contra Costa County's Health Services and Community Development Departments, the Cities of Antioch, Concord, Pittsburg and Walnut Creek, as well as by client fees, foundation grants and private contributions.
