PATHWAYS TO RECOVERY

Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program

New Connections provides intensive outpatient treatment services for youth and their families at our Counseling and Recovery Centers in Concord and Pittsburg. The program is called Pathways to Recovery, and is conducted by professional therapists who specialize in chemical dependency problems.

Pathways to Recovery includes an adapted version of the Matrix Model of Addiction and Recovery. The program is based on extensive clinical research, and has been employed at New Connections for several years. Over 1,000 youth and adults have successfully completed treatment at New Connections since 1990.

This program is sponsored by Contra Costa County's Health Services and Community Development Departments, the Cities of Concord and Walnut Creek, and foundation grants and private donations.
